That works.

Its why I was giving some time before moving the post to the ypp forums.

I had a feeling we might have to compete with other events.

Thanks for the heads up, Marms!

Well, I accidently canceled event, so couldn't move it to Sat morning. Rescheduled for Friday evening, regular flag time. Sorry to change it without consultation, it was an accident.

Posting official event info tomorrow with changes.

Please remember to talk it up in pillages over the next week.

As a reminder, the event will be Friday night, June 29th, at 7pm pirate time.

What happens if more than one party puts a shot/ram into the ship on the turn it sinks?

Any thoughts on this?

If no, I am going to say the following:

Should more than one vessel shoot the ship in the turn it sinks, multiple prizes will be awarded. Ram damage will not be taken in to consideration. Shoot to win, we're not trying to run Marmy down in a parking lot. :D

That response sounds good to me, we should be willing to pony up awards for a multiple hit sink occurrence.

Ahoy Everyone,

I want to thank everyone in Otherworld for helping with this event. From the feedback I got, lots of people enjoyed it, and it was an entertaining diversion from normal ocean life.

Thank you!

I did learn a couple things from doing this, lol.

Event Sum Up:
-Helpers to monitor chat and direct people.
-More people to watch the blockade board. It was hard to keep up at times.
-People liked the prizes.

Costs:

Flag Coffers:
-25k Fanchuan Purchase
-46,190 to stock Fanchuan and LE sloop for prizes.

LC Coffers:
-20k For tournament prizes

Total: 91,190 PoE

I paid for the LE sloops and donated one for a prize, as well as the 4 rogue marks.

To pay this back, LC donated profits from their foraging ship. 45k.

Which leaves a remaining balance of 26,190 owed to flag, and 20,000 owed to LC.

I will be working to repay this through pillages and otherwise.

Overall, not a bad amount for the PR we received.

Also, if anyone has event ideas, please let everyone know so we can help to make the event possible.

Thanks again! :D

I don't see how anything is owed to flag or crew. These are flag and crew expenses, not personal expenses. We all need to keep donating, to be ready to defend. I think we got our value out of any eights spent. Great PR with enhanced reputation for running an event that lots of people enjoyed.

I'm fine with it as long as everyone else is.

I did want everyone to know exactly where the poe went to.
